"Inca" Spaniel watercolour portrait

This is a cute little Spaniel called "Inca".  She was commissioned as surprise present, and so not to give the surprise away, I didn't put her on the blog.  Then promptly forgot all about her!  It was only that I have two commissions underway, (both Spaniels) that jogged my memory - definitely getting senile!

I just finished painting Bailey last week, and it is only now that I can close my eyes without seeing swirls of golden fur. 

Next on the list is the first of two Spaniel commissions, so it will be nice to have a change of colour, and a slight change of fur.  I will try to take more photo's of each stage.  I got a little carried away when  painting Bailey,  so only have the first and last stage photo's

The Christmas decorations are all packed away for another year, and 2012 is well under way.  Life at the easel is still busy, and while I need to organize photographs, and files to update my latest work, thought you might like to see what I am working on at present.  Be back soon.
